In support of Utah Indigenous Fashion Week, the Natural History Museum of Utah hosted a fashion show like non-other.
An annual celebration of Indigenous artistry and culture, UIFW designers and models took the museum by storm.
The music, colors, and energy were a true celebration of Indigenous heritage. UIFW provides a platform for Indigenous designers to share their unique stories, challenge stereotypes, and connect with a wider audience.
The theme this year, "Clothed in Mother," honored the the resources Mother Earth provides to us all.
The blend of traditional Indigenous inspirations blended with a modern optimism were a wonderful photographic playground.
"A lot of Native Americans like to tell stories through song and dance. We're doing it through fashion..."
